At First City we believe it is so important to be in community outside of church on Sundays. We facilitate that by offering small groups on a semester basis; Spring, Summer, and Fall. Our Summer semester starts on June 14 and lasts for 6-weeks until July 25. This Summer we are launching Hospitality Groups and our goal is 100% participation. Even if you can’t make it every week and pick a group and join when you can. Hospitality is church’s focus for 2026 and this our way of putting that into action. If you are looking to get more connected at First City, FC Next Steps is the best way. This is a class where you can learn about the church, connect with team leaders, have questions answered, and join the First City Family. Lunch and childcare are provided for everyone in attendance. We ask that you RSVP using the button below so we will be ready to serve you. The class takes place on the 3rd Floor in our FC Students area after second service ends, typically around 12:00, and ends before 2:00. We hope your family can join us!
Saturday, August 1, is our annual FC Students Back2School Splash at the Dunn’s residence! Students (6th–12th grade) are invited to an afternoon of swimming, tubing, boat rides, water sports, great food, and fun as we kick off the new school year together. It’s a great opportunity to hang out, build friendships, and invite a friend before school begins!
Please bring: Swimsuit – Towel – Sunscreen – Refillable water bottle – Water shoes 2:00–7:00 PM • Registration is required.
Sunday, August 2, is Move-Up Sunday! We’ll celebrate all of our FC Kids as they move up to their new grade for the upcoming school year. During both morning services, kids will enjoy a Water Slide Fun Day, popsicles, a special prayer over the new school year, and a keepsake gift to remind them that Jesus loves them.
Please bring: Swimsuit, Towel, Sunscreen, Refillable water bottle
Kids will check in as usual, but parent pickup will be at the outside gate on the grass lot after service. Please bring your pickup tag to check out your child. We can’t wait to celebrate this exciting day with your family!
Abide Night is a monthly gathering focused on intentional worship and prayer. Join us on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 5:00 PM in the Worship Center at FCC. This is a space for our church family to slow down, seek the Lord, and abide in His presence together.
Everyone is welcome—individuals and families alike. While childcare is not provided, we love seeing families worship side by side. The evening typically lasts about an hour, but you’re always welcome to stay longer and continue in prayer.
When life gives you lemons, come spend an evening celebrating the One who gives us grace! Join us for a sweet night of laughter, encouragement, dinner, and fellowship as we discover how God meets us in every season—turning life’s sour moments into something beautiful. Inspired by 2 Corinthians 12:9, this event is open to all women and girls ages 12 and up.
