JOIN US SUNDAYS AT FIRST CITY CHURCH

Sundays at First City Church are designed to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. At First City we believe God is more concerned with your heart than your outward appearance. Because of this we come across as laid back. Feel free to wear something casual, bring your coffee into service, and make yourself at home!

SUNDAYS OVERVIEW

We would love for you to join us on Sunday at either our 9:00am or 10:45am service. Make sure to stop by the welcome tent and receive a gift. The coffee house opens 30 minutes before service. We look forward to meeting you!

For your potty trained 3 year olds to 5th grade we bring kid-inspired fun to every service and classroom through energetic worship music, interactive games, and bright, friendly environments. Children with special needs are welcome.

FC Students

Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

FC Students is our student ministry at First City Church for students 6th-12 grade. Our FC Students small group is held on Wednesdays from 6:00pm-8:00pm during each small group semester. We have created a fun and safe environment where they can build lifelong friendships, get the biblical point of view on tough topics, and reinforce the God-centered life that parents are also being taught to cultivate family dialogue. Students will be loved and cared for so they can know who God is, find and walk in the freedom He gives, discover the purpose He has for them and make a difference to those around them as Kingdom Workers. We encourage all of our students to both serve and attend our weekly Sunday services.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

What do I wear?

It’s great to wear your “Sunday Best” but most people dress casually and comfortably. We believe God is more concerned with our hearts than with the clothing we wear.

Do you have security?

Security is a high priority for First City. We have a safety team that patrols our campus. Also, safety and security for the children that attend is a high priority. All Children in First City Kids or Nursery must be registered by a parent or guardian at the Kids Check-in Desk when they arrive. Parents and Guardians will be issued a badge to be presented at the end of service when you return to pick up your children that identifies you as the parent/guardian.

What can I expect?

We strive to make our worship meaningful and relevant for everyone, from those who’ve never been to church to those who attend every Sunday. Our worship style is contemporary and our lessons are practical. Communion is served each Sunday.

What is communinion?

At First City we give the opportunity to take communion every Sunday. Communion is the symbol of the new covenant that Christ established before he died on the cross. For more questions on communion feel free to contact us to speak to one of our pastors.
