At First City we love to do life together. Events at First City are designed to grow people spiritually, connect people together, and serve our community. We hope you will attend our next event to get connected!
Our Spring Small Groups semester kicks off on February 2! The Spring semester lasts 13 weeks and will end on May 3. This is the best way to get connected in the community here at First City Church. We want to encourage everyone to find a small group to attend this Spring. Life is better in community!
Small Group Leader Training for anyone interested in leading a small group for the first time will be offered on January 12 or 19. Please RSVP to Mark Wise at smallgroups@firstcitychurch.org to let him know which class you plan to attend.
Small Group Fair will take place on January 26 in the Coffee House between services and after second service. This is a great time to explore all the small groups offered this semester, meet the group leaders, and ask any questions you may have before attending.
Let the madness begin! March is full of basketball and brackets. Come down to the First City Church Men’s Event on March 28 for some friendly competition, tailgate food, and hear what the Bible says about teamwork. We welcome all men including young men in middle school and high school. Register online to ensure your spot in the competition. Even if you’re just a fan of the referees, you’re sure to have a great time!
Calling all handymen and green-thumbs friends! If you like doing projects around the house and working in the yard, we need your help! FCC is hosting our first Maintenance Day for 2025 on March 15. The goal for the day is to clear the debris along the fence line in the far parking lot and clean out the flower beds. If you are interested in coming to help that morning or have questions about what is needed, please reach out to Jesse Karr at jessekarr53@gmail.com.
