At First City we love to do life together. Events at First City are designed to grow people spiritually, connect people together, and serve our community. We hope you will attend our next event to get connected!
Twice a year our church participates in 21 Days of Prayer, once in the Spring and once in the Fall. In the Spring, not only do we have 21 Days of Prayer, but we also encourage our congregation to fast as well. Typically, people choose to fast from food, but it could also be something else like no social media or limiting screen time. The main goal of fasting is giving up something to make room for you to spend with the Lord in prayer. Calling
all parents and Students! Parents, we appreciate all you do, this is our way
of giving back to you, saying thank you for driving your students to all our
events, Wednesday nights, and trusting us to help instill the Word of God in
your FC student. Come and get your 2025 FC Students calendar, have a Q&A
with our Student leaders, enjoy a meal, and engage in some family fun!
Parents: dress up as young, Students: dress up as old. Prizes for the best
dressed! Minute to win it wars: Parents vs. Students. We hope to see you there!
Our Spring Small Groups semester kicks off on February 2! The Spring semester lasts 13 weeks and will end on May 3. This is the best way to get connected in the community here at First City Church. We want to encourage everyone to find a small group to attend this Spring. Life is better in community!
Small Group Leader Training for anyone interested in leading a small group for the first time will be offered on January 12 or 19. Please RSVP to Mark Wise at smallgroups@firstcitychurch.org to let him know which class you plan to attend.
Small Group Fair will take place on January 26 in the Coffee House between services and after second service. This is a great time to explore all the small groups offered this semester, meet the group leaders, and ask any questions you may have before attending.
