At First City we love to do life together. Events at First City are designed to grow people spiritually, connect people together, and serve our community. We hope you will attend our next event to get connected!
Our Summer Small Groups semester kicks off on June 15! The Summer semester lasts 6 weeks and will end on July 26. This is the best way to get connected in the community here at First City Church. We want to encourage everyone to find a small group to attend this Spring. Life is better in community!
Small Group Leader Training for anyone interested in leading a small group for the first time will be offered on June 8. Please RSVP to Mark Wise at smallgroups@firstcitychurch.org to let him know which class you plan to attend.
Small Group Fair will take place on June 15 in the Coffee House between services and after second service. This is a great time to explore all the small groups offered this semester, meet the group leaders, and ask any questions you may have before attending.
FC Students is hosting a fundraiser to help our students attending camp get to go white-water rafting while in Tennessee. The cost is $20 per person and includes a 3-course dinner. Childcare is available and costs $5 per child and includes dinner and activities. All proceeds will go towards covering the cost of our students’ recreation day at MOVE later this summer. You can pay online using our online giving portal. Please be sure to choose ‘MOVE Summer Camp’ in the dropdown menu and put ‘Fork it Over’ in the comment box. We hope to see you there!
We are hosting on 3rd Maintenance Day for 2025 on July 12. We are currently waiting to see what our contractors are able to accomplish to know what would be best to tackle at Maintenance Day. We will keep you all posted once we know more. Please save the date and plan to join us on July 12 at 8:00!
Our monthly Abide Worship Nights and Prayer & Healing Nights are merging! Join us every 3rd Sunday at 5:00pm for the new Abide Nights. These nights will be filled with powerful worship, prayer, and healing. We would love for you and your family to attend. Join us as we gather in faith, expectation, and gratitude. Please note there is no childcare, but children are welcome.
Starting on August 3, we will start our Fall 2025 21 Days of Prayer. We do this twice a year, in January and August, as a time to refocus our hearts and minds as we start the new year. More details coming soon about our focus for this Fall’s 21 Days of Prayer.
All students in 6th-12th grade, you’re invited to an end-of-summer celebration you won’t want to miss! Join us at the Dunn’s for an afternoon packed with swimming, boat rides, tubing, water sports, food, and fun as we gear up for the new school year. Don’t forget to bring a towel, appropriate swimwear, water shoes, and a refillable water bottle. Let’s make some memories before school starts!
